FishingCue Terms of Use

FishingCue helps you plan shore fishing around the UK. Please read and accept these terms to use the app.

The short version

Forecasts, scores, maps, depths and tide times are estimates from third-party models. They can be wrong, late or missing.
FishingCue is not a navigation aid or a nautical chart. Never use it to navigate a boat or to decide whether a place is safe.
You are responsible for your own safety. Check official tide tables and warnings, local signs and the conditions in front of you, and turn back if in doubt.
A place in the app does not mean you have the right to access or fish it. Follow landowner, harbour and fishery rules, licences, size and bag limits.

1. Information only

Marine, weather, tide and fishing information in FishingCue comes from public and third-party sources and from our own models. It is provided for general planning only, may contain errors or gaps, and may not reflect conditions at a particular place or time.

Scores and forecasts are not a promise that you will catch fish, or that conditions at a place will be safe.

Depth shading, contours, coastlines and intertidal areas are approximate and are not official charts. Do not use FishingCue for navigation, boating, kayaking or any other safety-critical decision.

3. Your safety

Sea fishing can be dangerous: incoming tides, waves, slippery rocks, cliffs and weather can change quickly. Check official sources such as UK Hydrographic Office tide predictions and Met Office warnings before you go, wear suitable safety equipment, tell someone where you are going, and never put yourself at risk for a catch.

4. Access and rules

Listing a place does not mean public access is allowed or that fishing is permitted there. You must follow signs, landowner and harbour authority instructions, byelaws, licence requirements and fishing regulations, including minimum sizes, bag limits and protected areas.

5. Your account and data

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, FishingCue is not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from your use of the app or reliance on its information. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. When the changes matter, the app will ask you to read and accept them again. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

二、不得用于导航

三、自身安全

海钓可能有危险：涨潮、海浪、湿滑的礁石、悬崖和天气都可能迅速变化。出发前请查看英国水文局潮汐预报、英国气象局预警等官方信息，穿戴合适的安全装备，告诉他人你的去向，不要为了渔获让自己身处险境。

四、通行与规定

列出某个地点并不代表允许公众进入或允许在那里钓鱼。你必须遵守现场标识、土地所有者和港口管理方的指示、地方法规、执照要求和渔业规定，包括最小尺寸、数量限制和保护区。

六、责任

在法律允许的范围内，FishingCue 不对你使用本 App 或依赖其信息所造成的任何损失、损害或伤害承担责任。本条款不排除英格兰和威尔士法律规定不得排除的责任。

七、条款变更

我们可能会更新本条款。如有重要变更，App 会请你重新阅读并同意。本条款受英格兰和威尔士法律管辖。
